    Why men are never depressed

Oh you know, I always joke with my female friends that men have DSB 'Dead Sperm Buildup' ha ha. That's whenever their male bosses go funny, ha, ha. So, it's all human. Hormonal things are not just a female thing.

Married life for men means, not doing your own laundry, not housecleaning (not that men ever do - cleaning off a table involves sweeping the stuff onto the floor), never having to find anything again, even tho it's always right in front of your face when you open a cupboard, being able to get away w bad sex - shall I go on?
      Er - sorry - what????

If you must know - both SWMBO and I work full time - so we divide the domestic workload very evenly!
I am happy to do laundry, cook, clean the house, deal with kids issues, and all the things that are traditionally "female" roles in addition to the things like yard work, decorating, taking out trash and dealing with cars the more "man" stuff - in fact, because I am fairly physically fit - I tend to probably do MORE than my share of that girly stuff - SWMBO tends to need to put her feet up more than I do after a weeks work!

And as for "bad sex" - I don't think so!!!!!

OK - I admit I perhaps do not behave like Mr Average - but please don't tar us all with the same brush!

I do feel really strongly about this - why the hell should SWMBO run about after my backside looking after ME in addition to doing her own full day's work. What makes ME so special?????
If she did that - AFAIAC it would be demeaning to me!
I dont need no woman to iron my shirts, clean up after my butt or feed me!

I believe marriage should be a proper partnership!

      Love :l

            Why men are never depressed

Nope Finding - I am the only "me" I know of.

HMMM, Re-Reading my earlier post - it makes me looks like I am some kind of goody goody Mr perfect - I can assure you I am VERY not!

I DO feel strongly about this stuff tho'
If you ain't gonna help each other and share EVERYTHING - good and bad - why get married!

I also know people who are married - and both work, yet they retain separate bank accounts, and have to "negotiate" with one another as to the share each will pay when wishing to purchase joint things like furniture, curtains, stuff for the kids etc.
They even keep receipts etc so they can "prove" who paid for what.
            What is that all about?

Each to their own I suppose - just seems very weird to me.

            Love

I'm with you there Satori - my parent's are still like that financially (hmmm, of that more later...poss :bang ull ) and it's cold and business-like to me. Like storing up Brownie points for later....dodgy stuff.

Kind of why D didn't want commitment I guess - might have had to share utility bills!!!.............. (Um, am I dreaming but didn't Pooh tell Piglet that, "Everything's easier with two"...?!? I like Pooh! )

And OF COURSE there's only you! How could there be more than one Satori! :thumbsup

LOL - Oh no - not another Pooh fanatic!

I had to endure many, many hours of my younger son singing "windy a poo, windy a poo" at the top of his lungs when he was little.

I'm storing that little snippet up for when he brings his first unsuitable girlfriend home! :H

I have a nephew, he's 2, so gorgeous, who I recently brought to the supermarket on an extremely busy Saturday. He kept throwing Pooh out of the trolley and shouting POOH with a big smile every time he did it.
The other shoppers thought he was saying s**t politely, or doing one in his nappy and telling us all that he was doing it! It was the best saturday shop i've had in a long while :-)

I cannot agree more with you Satori. geez. I thought sharing and caring was the purpose of getting married.
