        stuffing recipe

Judy, that is so funny and not far from the truth, let me tell you.

One year I had to feed a crowd and I thought it would be great not to have to cut around all the turkey bones. So, I deboned a turkey, then I deboned a capon and then I deboned a cornish hen. Then I stuffed the cornish hen with stuffing, stuck it into the capon and then stuck the capon onto the turkey. Whereever there was a little free pocket, I packed it with more stuffing.
Into the oven it went for a long slow roasting. About 20 minutes before dinner was to be served, we were all hanging out in the kitchen, when we heard this gigantic puff and the oven door flew open and out came the top part of the turkey.
I had not anticipated that the damned stuffing was going to expand and blow up the turkey.
Well, we had a good laugh and the concoction was delish.

So, I might just wanna try out that recipe, as I already have experience blowing up fowl.
        :H :H :H :H

          Lori,

How funny. What a great memory, too.

My first turkey looked pretty funny because I didn't tie the legs together.

He looked like a Penthouse fold out and my company all laughed about it.

          He still tasted good, though.

I've only cooked turkey twice...I never tied the legs together.

Maybe that's why it came out so "fast & easy" LOL:H
