I didn't know where to place this but it tickled my funny bone.

I work for the gvmt and I get catalogues wherein the price changes on items periodically, and one must call in to get the current price.

So I called a company and read off my item number asking what the price was.


Her reply............."Is this an item you're interested in?"

I do get bored in my work, but not so far as to call up random items in a catalogue just to inquire what their current price is.........LMAO

Hart, I so know what you are talking about. I called my pager service provider today to cancel my contract and their services. I am telling the nice lady on the line that we have a "brandnew communication access system in place and therefore I do not require their pager services anymore". There was a pause and then she said: "But how will we contact you when somebody calls for you." Dah! People never listen! LOL.
