Well Happy Bday Greenie. I spent my last bday doing community service also.

Dolly, that made me snort! That was just a rendition of a birthday card I got last fall! On the cover were two women in 1950s or so clothes smiling and chatting with talk bubbles. Unfortunately it was from my niece who is quite like me. Runs in the family. I can hardly take care of myself, much less the community. LOL

I think you are better able than you give yorself credit for. BTW community service SUCKS. I went and cleaned schools. I watched actual workers that my school taxes are paying for sit and talk while I cleaned. Honestly at that point I was still drinking and I used it as an excuse to drink more. Didn't help me one bit.

Next time you see the highway guys, check em out really closely: one of the fat ones could be Elvis? Around here, they start out at 17.50 an hour, but the one's standing around have union seniority and they start at 35.00 plus overtime and double on Sundays and triple on holidays!!

I didn't mean that we girls were dispoiling the sand...it was my brother, many years ago, late at night, arrested by a plain clothes guy at his beach birthday party. He got 3 months service. Today, he would get jailtime!
