A baby polar bear walked up to his mother. He had an inquisitive look
on his face.
"Mother", asked the cub, "am I a real polar bear?"
"Why yes, son. Your father is a polar bear and I am a polar bear. That
makes you a polar bear, too."
"But mother", the cub persisted, "am I really, truly, a polar bear?"
"Why, of course you are dear", his mother assured. "My father and
mother, who are your grandparents, are polar bears. Your father's
parents are polar bears as well. Yes, my son, you are a 100%,
honest-to-goodness, real polar bear. Why do you ask?"
"BECAUSE I'M FREEZING!"
