Two city slickers on their first hunting trip get lucky and shoot a huge buck with a 10-point rack. Having made no plans for getting the deer out of the woods, they begin laboriously dragging it through the woods by it's hind legs. The rack constantly becomes intangled in the underbrush, and they realize it will take them hours to reach their truck.
Suddenly, they meet a seasoned hunter coming into the woods, and tell him their problem. "Well, fellas, if'n you'd pull him by the rack he'd move a lot easier," instructs the other hunter.
After thanking him, the two grab the rack, and sure enough, the deer slides along. About an hour later, the first hunter says to the second, "Sure is a good thing we met that guy and he told us how to pull this deer."
Second one replies, "Yeah, but we're getting further and further from the truck."
