I personally am waiting to have my kitchen in perfect shape when I retire. Before that time comes - I would just go nuts over the messes and lack of thought process in putting items away, if I didn't decide to choose my battles. He works from home so has ample opps to mess with the kitchen order all day long! My good cheese grater was gone for almost six months one time - guess where I found it? Above the fridge? Who does that?!!!
