I know most people don't care about this but I am just so happy that my sweet baby won.
It was one of the most exciting matches ever played, no joke. I just love him so much. Luckily my husband doesn't care.

Hi Happy, I'm happy for you,

Must say I always gun for the underdog (and Nadal has the most gorgeous arms) but the best man won in the end and glad it went to 5 sets, the finals are so much better if they go close to the wire.

Had my folks over so lots of sightseeing to do and was so pleased we got to see the last 3 sets. Thought your boy was in trouble for a while with the new challenge system but he played fabulously!

Perfect TV to go with our Sunday lunch!

I was very worried for him too! Nadal is going to be the next best player in the world and he'll have his day very very soon. I am just glad my sweet baby tied Borg's record and I hope he gets to beat his record next year. Then Nadal can have it, I give him all the kudos in the world it totally could have gone either way today and Roger told him that. I love the civility of tennis!!
Well usually it is civil! I love that John McEncore is commenting! He was a maniac as a player! He has really found his niche. :h

Yes - what a cutie - nice pecs!! Well done Federer and happy days to all of his fans - saw the last set and what a contest; shame there has to be a winner when it's so close like that. I'm still reeling - a Brit actually won something in the mixed doubles. We'll be banging on about that for years to come!!

Sorry never heard of Jon McLaughlin. Is he in a band? I know he's getting on a bit now, but I'd love to have a bit of tantric sex with Sting; he's always been my idol!! Am going to see the Police in September - can't wait. My hubby says I'll be peeing my pants!!

Ok I just heard that Roger is so hot and cool that he will have the effect Tiger woods had on golf. Tiger boosted the sports popularity so high and they predict Roger will do the same for tennis.

Got to love it!!!
Sammys, I just might go and play a game tonite, haven't played since high school, in the summers I would play everyday with friends or just hit balls off a backboard.
