Dear David ..forget about it..you did nothing wrong..now I see where all this came from in some of the other threads. today...I read your original psot ..no biggie..most of us do get depressed sometimes reading the sad stories here.

I think you got it, the term mad drunk was taken as a big insult. Probably this is a cultural issue.

The word mad in the US means two things: angry and crazy in a derogatory sense.
So it sounded like you were dissing people for being both crazy and drunk.

i know that in other parts of the world the word mad is used a lot more loosely and didn't think what you wrote was offensive.

I am glad you plan to come back.

You did get us thinking, that is for sure!!!
