I just wanted to drop in and say hello...I've just been flicking through some of the threads this morning and reading what everyone is upto is brilliant..
It's been a tough year for me this year...As some might remember i lost my Grandad in February...And on 19th of June my grandma passed aswell...This has had a terrible effect on my drinking..I think me drinking and never having anything posative to talk about has kept me away from the boards latley..I think the last time i was on i was in chat and i thought omg i'm even depressing myself never mind the poor people in chat..
As of tomorrow the plan is to try and cut down and eventually stop again...And i know i am gonna need help...This place worked for me last time and i made some great friends in the process.....So wish me luck..

Macks, I guess we disappeared at about the same time because I've been gone and am back too. Anyway, getting joggled sends us back into whatever coping mechanism is the easiest to get to, and we all know what that is. That's been my problem, too. The funny thing is that the difference now from the time before MWO is that a little voice in my head said, "Hey. Those friends are as close as your computer." So I'm back, and I'm in therapy, but I get more affection and encouragement here. Welcome back.
