beatle, it's a festival of sorts. People show off their bikes but there is entertainment, food, crafts to buy. It's in a way, like a fair.

    April 29 2011 TSM avg 70 - 80/wk
    wks* 1- 6: 256/1AF (avg 42.6/wk)
    wks* 7-12: 229/3AF (avg 38.1/wk)
    wks 13-18: 192/5AF (avg 32.0/wk)

      HELPING LUCKY IN STURGIS!!!!

Beatle, it's really obvious you don't ride a (real) bike.

There's a sort of mating ritual that goes on between bikers and other bikes. Once the call is put out, hundreds, nay, thousands of wild beast heed the call and will travel vast and dangerous distances to be with thier own kind..... Lilke warewolves gathering in the moonlight and howling together.... arrrrhhhoooooooo
It always seems impossible until it's done....

              HELPING LUCKY IN STURGIS!!!!

My hubby got a ticket last year for exhibition driving.
Beatle, that means he was SHOWING OFF. He was burning rubber.
Me and my husband have Boss Hoss bikes

We do a lot of riding all day. There is a lot of beautiful riding. There is also a lot of fun people watching at Sturgis. Everybody has their own definition of Sturgis. You make it what you want. The funny thing is that the big scary looking bikers are big old teddy bears. They are the nicest people in the whole world.

I am ashamed at all of you Americans who did not know what Sturgis was. Shame, shame, shame.

I have a friend who rides her Harley out there every year with her husband. She is a petite little thing and has the biggest Harley I have ever seen. I would LOVE a motorcycle. Happier, hope you will post a lot of pictures. Preferably clothed.

That is exactly what I want. A Honda Shadow 600. I cannot ride one but I will learn. I had a 125 in college and sorry D but that is far too wimpy.
