    Whoops

From one Cash (Johnny) to another....
The mind and it's chemistry is very complex and the multitude of things that can alter that chemistry, we could not even start to imagine...

    It is all so fradgile...I....

I... I..... What was I going to say?

See...something altered my thoughts right there....

Rocky, you are a hoot (a new word I learned yesterday from my American friends).
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life... And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

I feel as though it's all happening to someone right next to me.
I'm close, I can feel it, I can hear it, but it isn't really me.

                Cashie,

Love ya! If having no "mental" diagnosis was a pre-requisite for being in this place... there'd just be a whole lot of tumbleweed.

Glad for you that you have a diagnosis that helps you feel that you have options to assist your recovery. As others have said, there are many of us here (and I include myself!) that have eventually realised that our alcohol problem has really been about managing the primary symptoms of our psychological "status".
