          Hi

          Welcome back Lou Lou,

Sorry you've been having a rough time lately - good that you've got a diagnosis, though, as it gives you something to move forward with - now you need to find someone to GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER! Oh the wonders of the NHS system (am from the UK originally). Hang in there in the meantime, keep in touch and have faith that once this is sorted you'll have a whole new life ahead of you :l

            Hi

there are lots of natural ways to help bipolar. i am not an expert, just know a little. St Jouhns Wort takes a while to kick in. there are other natural remedies for quick relief while you wait for the St Johns Wort to work.

i suggest you post on the holistic medicine forum about this.
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life... And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

                Hi

Lou - glad you are back! I, too, was recently diagnosed with bi-polar in January. I was prescribed with SSRi's my whole life which didn't do anything.

I just want you to know you aren't alone here! It can get better!

                  Hi

Oh, and by the way - I, too was taking St. Johns Wort and if you have been diagnosed with bi-polar it can actually make it worse. I don't take it anymore. I take what is prescribed to me now and I feel a lot better.
