hey Finkle, yeah i know. well , my bf drinks almost everydya. he says he would stop if i wanted to, but i dont know if he would actually do it. i have to tos ay though, althrough he gets drunk maybe two three times a week, the rest of the days he'll just have a few beers a day. he really doesnt have that "genetic" alcohol prolem that most of us on this board have. where it takes control of us, we cannot stop when we start, etc. he has it good-he just drinks cuz he likes it and doesnt have that negative effect that it has on us who are prone to problem drinking. im tellin u, there is a difference. not that he coudlnt eventually get addicted to it if he drank to much, but its less likely to happen to him than to us. i have done many embarassing things myself being drunk, as well as been real nasty to him. ( but we fight even NOT on the alcohol and its when i black out and he tells me the next day, i dont know who really started it.. lol ) so what supplements and steps are you taking? i recently came off zoloft and have been better, but still knopw theres a problem. i also am not as bad as some other people on here ( drinking inthe am, etc) and i KNOW that if i dont do smething soon, theres a chance my alcohol problems could progress into the later stages of alcoholism. ok, ttyl!
