I cried when I read this post - it was all so true and the sad story of my life. What you have said is totally inspirational to me. I am printing it out and carrying it with me in my wallet for if I ever forget why I need to stay AF.

Thankyou all for your replies.......its makes me feel even stronger now that you all understood what I wrote......thats why I need to stay away from alcohol.......I can not say one good thing about alcohol anymore so whats the point in drinking it. And cad I agree about the phone thing and being round people its such a horrible feeling isnt it. And Mags Im happy that you printed out my post to read to remind yourself to stay AF....you say I have inspired you well you have me for doing that gives me the more reason to stay sober too thankyou all.

Also I know people that drink everyday some for weeks some for months some for years but they never seem to suffer the withdrawals I do they go about there business they may suffer physically but they seem to cope mentally I can not understand this I know drinking effects us all differently but surely the withdrawals are pretty much the same ? Do you think it depends on your personality? if your a sensitive person or a strong person I dont know it just dont seem fair to me.

Not unless they do suffer mentally but just hide it. I carnt hide it Im like a nervous wreck.
