I just made it to this thread. what a wonderful thread.

My ex husband was possibly exposed to HIV while we were married. (The girl was an IV drug user who had shared needles.) 'Don't know what happened to her. We got tested. He was OK so I was OK. We got a divorce.....lots of other issues besides the cheating. It was back in the late 80's. There were no good drugs back then to help people live longer like they have now, only AZT.

Intuitive, I know you'll be OK. These things that happen to us really give us a jolt into "get busy living or get busy dying". (That's a quote from the Shawshank Redemption). I think of it sometimes when I want to drink because I'm unhappy about something. After years of drinking it's really the choice we are making. Your list is brilliant. I think I'll make one of my own. It will be my get busy living list. inspired by in2itiv.

Rather than post a new thread, which would put more focus on "Disease"; I thought is was better to post here. Because my original intent of this thread was to focus on shifting away from the various "dis-eases" that cause problems with our health and our lives.

It is a small shift in positive thinking, but I think an important one. What we focus on, is what we create in our life.
