Yes I think you should leave as a matter of urgency for your own safety.
However, I second what Melissa says, i.e. if you feel you can`t go just yet, please keep checking in with us to let us know you`re O.K.............sometimes we can`t help our feelings................we`re your friends and will continue to support you whatever you decide. However, in most cases, domestic violence escalates, so please think very carefully about the future. You may well think you can`t live without your fiance.......having been there, I can tell you from experience that you can live without him.........wee Monty will give you all the love and comfort you need right now.

As has been already said, a big cage is a super idea to allow you to take your kitten to your gran`s.........there are usually ads. for second-hand ones in Adtrader. Another option would be pet foster-care..........you can get the phone no. for foster care from your local P.D.S.A., or from some of the private vets.

I really feel for you, having Monty to consider in all of this. But please also consider your own welfare and a violence free future.............you deserve to be safe and happy, Kitty.

Kitty - it won't 'go away' - you're the only one who can take control of this situation by walking away from it. Take the kitty with you and ask your Nan to help sort out what to do with him, but don't use it as an excuse -

So many of us have done the same with alcohol - there will always be a reason not to leave/stop while you want to find one - if it's not kitty it will be something else. If you TRULY wish it to go away so you can get on with becoming well then you need to leave now and then surround yourself by as much support, friendship and love as you can find while you start to heal. And you will heal - with help - but NOT until you leave. So please, take the first step and go to your Nan's ... :h

Please listen to the advice here and get out of this situation. By staying you are endangering yourself AND the kitty!

I KNOW how difficult this is - but you MUST leave as soon as possible.
Take the cat to your nan's - it is a minor problem and can be solved very easily once you are both safe!
