After a highly humilliating attempt at uploading a picture of my kittens (uploaded something completely different and had to pm RJ immediately to get it removed) she said she'd never had to delete one before but got rid of it for me. bless. It wasnt the best kitty pic i had so i tried to do another but it says i have exceeded the maximum no of file uploads??? one would appear to be absolutely clueless in this area and could do with a little help... anyone?? frustrated!!

Hi, folks.
I just double checked and confirmed that you can actually delete your own files in the photo gallery. I've had another request to delete a member photo so figured it would be helpful to post these instructions:
Select the photo you wish to remove. You'll see a number of links above your picture including one that says "delete". Presto, poof.
And yes, we do limit photo size, we simply must. Most digital pictures, especially those taken at high resolution settings, are enormous. We only installed this application a few months ago but are currently housing over 300 photos at nearly 60 MB so it's critical we have some sort of cap. You can reduce photo size with an art program or use a free service like the one mentioned above.
Registered members can each post one photo in the gallery and Subscribers are allowed unlimited posting as a part of the $9.95 monthly service, as it helps support web hosting and other forum costs. We currently have just over 100 Subscribers and around 3,630 Registered Members so we're doing our best to manage resources while allowing access to everyone.
