I think maybe what Lightpost means is that this is something in Imatree's control.
So if he doesn't get out it's because she didn't make him get out and she has herself to blame?
the phrasing sounded kind of harsh though.

the problem with depression, particularly combined with alcoholism, is that it makes everything seem hopeless. Things seem out of reach and life looks gloomy.

Imatree and I both went off depression meds at the same time. Ima: If you don't want meds, can you at least see a psychotherapist? You are not going to get out of this downward spiral without the ability to know you are capable of this and to move yourself into a better position.

I've just given him a 2 hour window of time to get his shit out of my house tonight, while i'm out. If he is still here when I return I'm calling the cops.
