I can't say it any better than Tawny did, in fact, I couldn't come close to saying it as well as Tawny. Her post says it all, in classic style. You heard it, keep reading it.

Meanwhile, we're all here for you. You know I love you and Lisa. I'm going for the AF life, after my numerous attempts at Mods kept leading me right back to getting sloshed every night. Some of us just can't do Mods. Let's just get on with it.

Oh Macks. I relate so well to your post and your feelings about your kids. Keep that vision of their faces in your mind when you are in a rough spot. I remember you from before and having done quite well. You can get that back. Focus on today only. Stay close to MWO. You will be able to get through this! Mackeral, I have nothing new to add. I just wanted to add my support, and voice to you when you are feeling down. As Tawny so brilliantly said, let your anger fuel you for the moment -anger at what alcohol does to peole and to you and yours, and how you behave when fueled by the alcohol. But eventually your love for your family and yourself will be the primary driving force-imho. Lots of hugs:h

Macks, I was feeling exactly the same as you 1 week ago, but Iv'e managed to get back
on track, and feel good again. Don't waste energy feeling guilty (easier said than done)
apologise and then get back on abs. You can do it if I can. Love Paula.

I am with Tawny on this one Macks- the rollercoaster ride needs to end or you could lose your family. And seriously start apologizing to Lisa who has been nothing but the most supportive wife in the world. And tell your kids you are sorry too, and make sure they know NONE of this is their fault.

Some people here have said kids are resilient but I disagree when it comes to watching your parents fight. Kids take it on themselves, it's not a stress that children need in their lives. I still have huge issues with my alcoholic father because of the way he treated my mom. i will never forgive him and a lot of it has to to with accountability. He just won't say he is sorry. You need to do that NOW. :h

Now i have got a knot in my stomach and a lump in my throut..
We have all sat down today and talked..I have apolagised to both lisa and the kids...And i have made promises to them and me..
What hurts me is that they are all so forgiving. Its a love i wont test anymore..
