Janice is doing a wonderful job starting off the Newbies in Need thread each day, but before that Bluesky used to start off and said she was having some sort of surgery and would be back with Newbies soon, but haven`t heard from her........

well, she didn't give any timeline on this. I miss her too. though sometimes I imagine doggygirl is a bluesky reincarnation and that makes me happy. Similar energy and extroverted nature online. anyway, bluesky knows she is welcome here. Janice and bluesky used to start the newbies thread off, though it was the idea of Amanda duggan. I wonder how Amanda is doing??? Maybe janice knows how bluesky is doing.

I've wondered about Bluesky so often.
Nancy I've thought the same thing about Doggygirl and even mentioned it to her.

Bluesky said something about 5 or 6 weeks but it's been longer than that since she left. June 20th was her last post I think.

Where ever she is and if she is lurking I hope she knows how much she touched us all.

Has anybody heard from Bluesky?

Bluesky and I were in touch a lot and I check every day to see if she's been online - she hasn't. I know she was having surgery and would be away about 6 weeks but that was the middle of June. She was having reconstruction surgery. I hope that that "incident" on here with the unpleasant pm hasn't put her off. I have messaged her but haven't had anything back - hope she's okay. Janicexx

Yeah, that was a bad incident. For newbies, bluesky was really positive and motivating on the message boards and some nasty person logged in anonymously and sent her a mean private message. it seemed really spiteful and uncalled for. i hope this does not happen to other new people...
