Hello everyone
Over the past month or so the HAMS Harm Reduction Network and My Way Out have been working cooperatively in trying to offer people alternative ways of coping with alcohol. We each have different approaches which we feel complement each other.
In July Roberta Jewell was a guest speaker in the HAMS Harm Reduction chat room and this went very well.
Now on Thursday August 23 at 9:00 PM Eastern time, 6:00 PM Pacific time, Maia Szalavitz will be the guest speaker in the HAMS Harm Reduction chat room and Roberta has been kind enough to allow me to invite you all to come and join us for this talk.
Maia Szalavitz is the author of "Help at Any Cost: How the Troubled-Teen Industry Cons Parents and Hurts Kids".
She is also the co-author of "Recovery Options: The Complete Guide"
