    A Question for the Boys...........

Pssssst, Boys!!!!........can you tell us Girls the secrets of your successes?

    O.K., here goes..............

Why is it that a man can always get a " burd " (i.e.girlfriend here in Glasgow) even if he has a face like a well-worn road-map, and us girls will all but put ourselves through torture to keep the wrinkles and grey hairs at bay?? I mean, just look at us.........Simey`s fan club is growing by the minute!!! LOL

C`mon Boys..........spill the beans on the secrets of the older man`s "pulling power" and giv`us a laugh on this damp, dreekit Sunday afternoon!!!

      A Question for the Boys...........

Personally?.........I`m seeking the "je ne sais quoi"...........only trouble is, I can`t quite define what I actually mean by that..........I only know that I know "it" when I see "it".

Actually, I think I do know, since I dated a 57 yr.old who definitely "did it" for me.........could it be that the older man has a certain charisma??

Anyway, like I say, I found he of the "je ne sais quoi", and am not telling what ensued.........oh, alright then.........he unceremoniously dumped me for being a drunk!!!! LMAO

Alas........Such is life!!! ha ha ha

                A Question for the Boys...........

Please let me give this a shot

Most men age like a pair of gloves. When they are new they pinch and pull, never fitting exactly like they should. They serve their purpose, but in an uncomfortable way. The older and more wrinkled / stretched they get, the better they fit. No more pulling or pinching. They not only fit right, they enhance the task at hand. Even when you take off a well broken in glove, it still holds the shape of the form that filled it; because it is molded into the texture and form of the labors it has been through. Looking at these gloves, you don’t necessarily see their scars, stretches, or wrinkles; but you see the usefulness, character, and you see they are a perfect fit just for you.

Women wear more like a favorite pair of shoes. When you first get them, they are bright and beautiful. They have a brilliant shine you want to show off. They are a nice tight, and you enjoy the close feel, and the comfort they give to you. It is important not to "wear" these shoes for extended periods when they are new or they can make sores even to the point of causing serious damage to the wearer. After a time of short excursions, the shoes get broken in and you are very comfortable in them. You want to have them with you all the time. They are still firm and polish up beautifully, so you never feel uncomfortable being seen with them. Then after some period of time, and this is different for different types and makes of shoes, they begin to look worn beyond “shining” up; and it may be necessary to remove the old wax, dye the leather, and remove the wrinkles with a stretcher. If this is done properly, the shoes will seem to have a new life. They may even require a new sole if they are thin and sensitive to heat and / or sharp objects. These reworked shoes don't have to be broken in again, since they still have the old fit, but they look like new leather. The problem is that you can only rework the shoes as long as the covering is thick enough to withstand the brutal rebuilding. When the shoe reaches the point of not being "pretty" anymore; and are not able to be reworked, they still fit and feel great. We keep them around because of the wonderful feeling they give us; that special personal feeling that we can't get from any other shoe. These old, worn, sometimes ragged, shoes are irreplaceable.

Next time you try to throw out your spouses favorite old worn out shoes, remember, you may have more in common with them than you think.

                  O.K. MD,
My interpretation of your post is that us Girls should pass on the cosmetic treatments and just get ourselves a "shoe-shine boy", like in days of old..........Hmmmm.....sounds like fun!!! LOL
