I think it may be something to do with the fact that men tend to be all prickly and feisty and "got something to prove" when they are young - all vying to noticed as "top dog".
As such they are often a pain in the butt!

As men (ones with any intelligence anyway) mature - they realise they have nothing to prove - they are what they are.
Then they are so much more comfortable in their own skins - and are much nicer to be around. They rise above the behaviours and attitudes of younger guys.

Just my thoughts - yours may vary!

I know I am a bit late joining in... thats my usual luck !!

I always used to go for men younger and they had to be a '10' in my eyes and clever,and the added bonus of large extremities!!! difficult to find but I seemed to manage it !!
(My hubby is all of these - with the added extra's of being moany and bossy too !!! The bits I wish he didn't have !)

Now, I wouldn't mind a bit older as long as they are clever, can talk and are good looking in my eyes. I couldn't be seen with a man that I don't think is good looking.

Now you all know how shallow I am !!!!

The men that came after me were usually not after my brain (I do so wish I had one anyway !!)...

ps. sorry starlight impress i know it's for men....but for once they seem very quiet !!!
