There is alot of kudzu growing across the road from my house. I'm gonna try eating it. I found alot of recipes on the net for kudzu. One was for wine but I'll skip that one. Anyone tried eating it? bird

Where I grew up there was acres and acres of it, but I never heard of anyone eating it. I am always careful with eating wild plants. Make sure you call your local agricultural cooperative extension (I think Auburn probably has several in Georgia) and check with them first. Please be careful.Rest in Peace, Bear. We miss you. -

I know they eat it in Japan, maybe check for some asian recipes... let us know if you get sick so I'll know not to do it....

I read about different recipes. Unfortunately I live in the northeast and we don't have it here. But from what I read you have to be careful that it wasn't sprayed with anything.
