I think what he means is because if you squint or close one eye while drunk you can see. if you keep both eyes open you will see double.
My dad is a recovering alcoholic with an artificial eye from and accident when he was a 8 years old so he's been a one-eyed drunk the whole time. Maybe that means he couldn't see a thing! Or one half of everything! Or one quarter! LOL In anycase he hasn't drank for 22 years but I will ask him. :hSunny days, sweeping the, clouds away. On my way, to where the air is sweeeet!!!
