Katie, Hon, Put something cold on your shoulder to try to reduce the inflamation... It may help... hopefully you want to hop on track sweetie... Try to always be aware of the way you lifting things.. especially if you now have a sore shoulder... try to take care of you...
I hope that tomorrow is a much better day for you.

I found one of my triggers

Ah Katie, shoulder pain is a BIG trigger for me. Chiropractic care and massage work WONDERS! Tuck in, use the ice packs. Tomorrow, alternate ice and hot every hour or so as you can, take some ibuprofen- and don't drink!!!! Sending hugs and healing thoughts

I found one of my triggers

I understand that trigger well, but there are also medicines especially for that kind of injury. Of course, nothing kicks in so fast as a good hard drink, I know. It's tough.

I have two main triggers-- sudden stress and feeling depressed. A shot of something strong relives both quickly, but, unfortunately, it's counterproductive in the long-run.

But it's good to know your triggers because it helps to avoid slipping in future.

It's great that you are turning this into a lesson, K. Kudos to you for that and keep going, a little slip in midst of pain is just that-- a little slip. Up you go again. (And get yourself to a chiropractor or at least some muscle relaxants):
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life... And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

I found one of my triggers

Katie, I will kiss it too. I think it's great that you posted. Pain is a huge trigger for many and I am realizing now that anxiety is a huge trigger for me. I went off my prescription med's for 2 weeks now and I seriously thought I might kill someone today. I was mad at the world until I had a glass of wine. That's when I decided I need to make the call and get them refilled. I am taking LO but I think the synthetic stuff keeps me more stabilized.

Here's for a better tomorrow for both of us. HUGS to you friend.

                  Thanks everyone

I'll survive, I guess. The thing is if I drink, it takes me a few days to stop again. Makes me mad.

Hugs Lucky ty for kissing it better

                  Moooooorrrrrreeee!!!! Ive missed you too!

I found one of my triggers

I know what you mean, Katie. Since stopping drinking, I have rediscovered ibuprofen. I NEVER took it when I was drinking. I didn't know I had so many aches and pains!

I hope your shoulder heals soon! Take care, and it's good to see you around again.

I found one of my triggers

I relate. Pain has been a big trigger for me -- migraine, neck, back, knee arthritic type (not rheumatoid - but from athletic injuries) that ibuprofen will not even touch. Altho, I am glad it helps you Kathy. It is an ongoing struggle. I recently found a super chiro for my back & neck,

Anyway -- do all you can to heal your pain. It is real. Altho others may doubt it.
