Patty/happy camper, how did the ultrasound go?
When will you get your results? Were they able to tell you anything yesterday? You have been in my thoughts a lot because like others here I have a very light ache in that area as well that sometimes I really think I am imagining it. Blood tests have all been normal but I would feel more comforted if they did more in-depth testing like you had done. If it is not too personal for you would love to hear the results when you get them. Wishing you well............. Molly -

I went this morning and had an ultrasound done on my abdomen and pelvis (pelvis was internal and external ouch!), everything was normal the technician was really nice and I told her I was most concerned with my liver, gallbladder, kidneys, and pancreas. Those and everything else was normal. She thinks it's muscles and stress and that I need to stretch and exercise and that I need a serious massage. I am an extremeky tense person. I have a massage gift card from when I had by baby (a gift from my hubby for $200!!!) from almost 3 years ago and never went!, I just made an appt for this Sat for a massage and a haircut woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Patty:rollin
Molly I am sure you are fine- but go get checked to put your mind at ease- it can't hurt. and get your pelvic area checked too while your at it.

What a relief for you, Patty!
reeeeeelaaaax. aaaaaah.
Enjoy your massage and haircut! Love those days at the spa. Keep moving one step forward at a time and putting some of the worries behind...take a deep breath and S-t-r-e-t-c-h!
Let's just be glad your insides are in good health right now
Love,
Becca

Yep, I get it
I understand the need to over-exaggerate my complaints or nothing will get done. Plus my doctor thinks/knows I am a real hypochondriac so always tries to tell me nothing is wrong and then will not test me. I am also horribly guilty of being an "internet diagnoser" which just causes him to laugh at me.

Patty,
So glad that things went your way - I too have had weird pains in my abdomen every once in a while. Noticed that they got a lot better after I began to abstain. Assuming that the booze was tearing up my gut ...
Enjoy the massage! I am going to get one soon, too. Only here they only cost 60 bucks an hour!!
Take care and chat later,
Pansy

Glad the ultrasound was o.k..I too thought my liver was going because of stomach problems. Then I worried that the doctor was going to think I was a hypochondriac if I complained too much. Then I would wake up in the middle of the night and worry about my supposed disease and if I was going to die. Finally had enough of my own nonsense and decided I didn't care what the Dr. thought of me. If she thought I was a neurotic mess tough! She did all the tests and now I sleep at night. I have promised myself that if anything comes up medically (imaginary or not) I will ask the doctor.I'm through with awfulizing at 2AM

Yeah! Patty That's such great news! I think your mind is so powerful, even if nothing is wrong... you can make yourself sick by worrying too much... Glad you got checked out.
Now you can start doing more important things! Like making you're Hubby's life miserable...HA! :rollin
Oh forgot, that's one of my favorite hobbies(my Hubby, not yours...but he started IT!:lol ...re:... my raspberries ) Hugs, Judie

Patty,
so glad about the good results! Very important for all of us to keep up with physical exams.
Enjoy that spa day (jealous!!!)
I went to a pain specialist today and found out that my bad pain in my thighs is severe bursitis. No other doc picked that up--and it's treatable. He gave me shots. Can you beat that.
Cheers. (ooops, I mean good luck)
Ned
