yes, gradual is very good idea. yes I told my doc and he gave me something for it no prob. also gave me some kind of "benzo" sedative that really knocked me out but helped a ton.

I'd also take taurine supplements..supposed to be good for that and bloating and heart palpitations. Taurine is a fascinating supplement really. Good luck PscyoMom and nice to hear from ya!

My Dr gave me medication for it knowing I was drinking. I guess her view was that the BP was a problem in itself regardless.

I'm still on medication even though I don't drink, but I am also unfit and I'm hoping to go off it once I get my weight down a bit and get healthier.
