I read this to my husband with tears streaming down my face. What a beautiful essay and what beautiful thoughts. We should choose to be hopeful, no matter what.

        Thank you,

A little more about Lindsay, my niece's life and death

I just read it again for the bump.

Lindsey reminds me so much, and looks like (looks a lot like!!!), my bestest friend since kindergarten friend that died at 29, named Lucinda.

The most gifted friend, and I know I have said it before, she designed the Buffalo Int'l airport. I wanted to be an architect too but just didn't have the talent. She came from a very poor family but got scholarship to Pratt University (I did not get in) where they now have a scholarship in her name.

She was brilliant, beautiful, and did not abuse her body ever, but cancer took her as it did Lindsey, albeit more quickly once she was diagnosed.
She had married her highschool sweetheart after dating for like 14 years and she died about 18 months after her marriage. Her hubby was my friend too because we all went to high school together. He had asked me out first but I said NO because he wanted to go to the beach (not a beach fan and I thought he was a very nice dork)! He is also a brilliant architect but left NY after she passed.

Lindsey and Lucy are having fun up there right now. I don't know what they are doing but they are fine, Bethy we have to believe that. :h
Sunny days, sweeping the, clouds away. On my way, to where the air is sweeeet!!! Can you tell me how to get, how to get to......LOL
