It always seems impossible until it's done....

I still think my ass looks less hideous with less pounds. Simple as that.

You all really are shameful. While I head off to bed, I hope "certain members" will take this time to repent and I look forward to a hearty apology in the morning. Sweet Dreams.

To repent, one must consider that they have sinned. To sin you have to believe in Dog, so it can't possibly be me. Whew, safe again.

                        Blissful Nan reporting in!

I can understand everything said here.

I love the escape alcohol provides, but even more I love waking up clear headed and proud I haven't given in to drinking to 'escape'.

I'm probably not the best person to give an opinion, with 'chonic complex post traumatic stress disorder' lol, but I do know, and am finding through experience that sober is best, not to say I miss getting pissed and escaping big time.

But I'm focusing on what I have, and what I have to lose, and what I have is so worth keeping it's making the decision easier.

Haven't got it perfect yet, and reckon I prob never will, but I have hope that I will get this huge demon down to a small dragon who's slowly running out of puff. And I'm really starting to be kind to myself, which helps,

And wise Flip said, Fynn doesn't need a lush for a Nan, thanks Flip, really and Big Time, they're words I need to hear.

                        Luv to all, Jas xxx
                        :thanks: :h

My take is.....'this is my real ass....the previous one was foisted upon me by aliens'.

Although in my case, my real ass has yet to show itself.

I like this thread very much.....the serious bit and the not-so-serious bit. I think I'm about to let soya milk drift gently out of my life and I needed some nice positive reinforcements....thanks Determinator
Just hand me the chocolate and.........I'll consider my position. My solicitor has advised me to say no more than that.

Obviously Nancy has never visited the Subscribers Forum. LOL

                                Good thoughts Determinator, as usual.
