        The grey whale.

Thanks for the save beaches! That is true. My words were to the whacko. I would never slam a fellow vegetarian!

I know the whacko is gone now but he will be back.

            The grey whale.

            SK,
The whale is such a majustic creature ! I can understand that inducious peoples have thier right to continue thier way of life, but could'nt they have eaten canned tuna or something. After all there are General Stores around thier. It's not like they're going to strave. I'm not making fun of these Native Americans. I am A Native American...We must adapt for the sake of saving our Wilderness ! Hunting for the sake of hunting and not survival is not right ! IAD

Thanks to all of you have posted. IAD, I respect the Native American's right to hunt, and they can take any fish whenever they want to no matter how it is caught. The non-native's have to abide by strict laws, and since my husband is a fly fisherman he does just that. He releases anything that non law abiding.

It is unfortunate that this poor whale sufferered, but the Makah tribe in totallity did not endorse it and many denounced it. I am sorry that a few renegades have brought shame on their community. Thanks for your support of our environment.
