    A moving Bone?

    Jas,

I read these posts to my hubby from Florida and he mentioned you might want to check and make sure there is not in fact a hermit crab inside that bone.

Just a thought. If so, take it back or it will die soon.

      A moving Bone?

Oh bless it!!! Awwwww. little claw waving around when you're out of the room...! ?!?!?!?!?!

Really hope you can get it on cam.... be a hoot! (I mean the bone not the poor little crab if he's in there...!)

But I live in a haunted house - a woodland entity was stuck in a time warp apparently ....my dining room was horrible. I don't really use it except for storage. We saw 'him' leave one night!!! A staying friend's dog's went mad! Send the bone and they can sort each other out!! Are your dogs bothered? Sure sign otherwise it's a crab!!

      Good thread! Love FMF x

            A moving Bone?

            i am a proud quack!

reminds me of the brady bunch episode where marcia took something from a hawaiin island and it was ancient and should not have left the island. it jinxed the house and family and she had to return it. remember that one?

Mags- I have a theory about those socks (always ONE, never the pair!) oh, and lighters... they're on an island beach somewhere having a party with their own psychedilic sock DJ!!

Pisces, why don't you coat one side of the bone with, say, red jelly. Place the bone on a white sheet of paper. Then, if there has been any movement......the red jelly will have made a design, of sorts, on the white paper!!!

Bluebell, you are too intelligent for your own good. I'll bet you could make a bundle of money selling those red jelly "pictures" on ebay.

Mags, it's called the hosezone (where your socks go), I thought that was common knowledge.

Lucky and Tawny, you have dated yourselves-- the Brady Bunch? How ancient are you anyway? (just kidding I saw it too-- except they were old reruns, he he).
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life... And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

Bluey - YESSS. An interactive Rorschach test. Too beautiful!

Beatle - cannot tell you how ancient I am without carbon dating me first.

                          A moving Bone?

                          Hi all,

Just thought I'd update on my 'walking bone',

I don't have a cat, and like I said my dogs are outside during the day, which is when it seems to move,

When I last took notice it had just moved sideways out of the position I had put it, but this time it has moved back into it's original position, not a big move, only around 6 cms, but has definatly moved again, but it was finding it out on the table that really got me intriged, and no there is no crab inside, the bone I think could be a dolphin or a large tuna vertabrae, it's a fairly big bone and very worn and old looking, but has no holes I can see where anything could be hiding.

I agree with the suggestion that I should maybe put it back where I found it, I get the feeling it wants to go back to the water. But as I've never really had this type of thing happen before it's got me fascinated, but as I don't have a video camera and I don't really want to put red jelly on it, I'm thinking that if I place it on a large sheet of coloured carboard and put powder all around it, it would show if it really is moving of its own accord.

I think it's amazing!!! but feel no malevolence from it, so hope it wishes me no harm, lol, and reckon after my experiment I should leave well enough alone and put it back!

                          Luv Jas xxx
                          :thanks: :h

Pices that is incredible. OK is your house slanted by chance? That's not a joke, really. Our upstairs is off a bit and things roll when you put them on the floor, it's a fun game with guests when they are sleeping.

Pisces - good idea! Definitely try something like the powder thing before you put it back where it wants to be.............wherever that is...?? Maybe it just wants to be on the other side of your room so you'll find it waiting for you on your front door step!!!!
