    Anyone up for a UK meet???

    Great Betty. Can you please keep track of how many and let me know so I can make a reservation... speaking of which, here is what I came up with:

      Brill Beatle! Um, they all look good to me - got to see Belgo's loos though?!?! (reviews...)
      Have to book there soon though. Howz everyone's budget? I'm OK at ?10-20 - and yet, as long as it's not ?50...this is an 'occasion'!!! Soft drinks cost an arm and a leg of course!!! Grrr!)

      Crikey, who's going to bite the bullet and decide....!?!

      (Amazing to look at some of the videos/pics and imagine us all sitting there actually talking!!!)

            Beatle - I am here!! (And thanks for yoru boost 'over there')

            Keep typing this, then looking at links and losing it....!

            As, I was saying.....! For me it would be good to find somewhere that is 'cosy' rather than the modern idea of yelling your every innermost thought over the racket of a modern, hard furnished, bench seated dining hall!!! (Um, who me? GOW - grumpy old woman...!??!)

            So, wondering if Belgo's might be a bit like that? What about Sofra for softness?!?

            We could indeed meet somewhere and 'go on' but by the look of it, we need to book somewhere..... And numbers!! Yes.....

            COME ON! HOW MANY!!!??

            BB's started something brilliant....we'll all end up in b***** Maccy D's if we're not careful!!
            (As in not, but possibly not somewhere conducive to chatting easily...) I wish I knew someone to call... hmmm. The web isn't actually that helpful is it?!? I'll have another go in a sec....

              Have you checked out www.davy.co.uk/crustingpipe ? (if it doesn't come up immediately, click on wine bars and drop down list of venues.... don't know why it wont 'stick'!!)

              Smack in the middle and where I have been outside....you can get to hear the 'street' entertainers...and inside looks cosy? But they say about bookings or even the room for 8???

                Oh poo, only just got my rota for this week.. and guess what... I'm working. I would really have wanted to meet up with you guys.

                  I am in agreement with you FMS.I think its a safe bet to book for 8.I think its you,BB, Mr BB,Kerrie,Beatle,me and Amelia,I think there is some others too.So that would be about right.

                    Oh heck!! we'll get there and see the perfect spot!! But I guess we need 'a table' to all find each other at..... I can ring my 'old friend' accountant tomorrow and ask him to ask around...? He works in Knightsbridge so will know someone who knows someone?

                        For goodness sakes, this is getting complicated. Can't we just get a number count, before I start swearing in several different languages? (Oh, believe me I can--- you don't want to hear it).

                        I'm thinking Sofra,-- looks like good food and -- most important -- atmosphere. So, please, who is coming--- and any objections to Sofra? (We'll go to Belgo to see the loos after, ok?).

                                ok, but I still don't have a number count-- only 4 (plus BB's DH and DD-- whom we are all happy to have with us). I recall more interest earlier, so I'm wondering what happened...
