Need to find a name, help please ....
FUNNY THREAD! Just twigged on it, and have not read all posts, but have you considered that the middle name might be the politically-incorrect "N" word?
I had a housekeeper for about 12 years whose husband's legal given Christian name was just that. We were horrified! We sat her down and told her that for a small fee (which we would gladly have paid) they could go down to the courthouse and have his name legally changed to something more normal, like Joe or Bob or Mike, whatever. She said, "Oh, no ma'am, I married him when he was N** and I reckon we better keep him like he is."Jane Jane

Wow! Good tale!
I hope not Neville; I'd be ashamed of that; it's the name of my uncle who left ?2.5 MILLION to the cat's home.....yup, he did! (Didn't know he had it.) I've gone off cats! (Sorry, you know what I mean!)
Still going with Nelson me..... Land Ahoy!!!! c:

Flip, I ain't even a-fixin' to translate for you. I don't want to get banned from this friendly website! Certain words you just don't say/type without gettin' into trouble...
I'm sure Aussies have similar terms that are verboten in polite society.Jane Jane

Need to find a name, help please ....
Just looked back on the N-word thread. Nelson is a lovely name. To whomever asked: I live in sunny Dixie Land. Was raised on a cotton plantation (swear to God) that is now a soybean-and-catfish plantation. Doesn't have the same ring to it, does it? Is it any wonder I'm an alcoholic? Down here our nannies used to put a little bourbon in our bottles of milk to "get us off to sleep." !!!!?!?! And...our mothers KNEW about it! Of course, they were off playing bridge and having their own little morning liquid snacks...Jane Jane
