Thanks again guys, I'm pretty gutted at the minute, she came home from school asking 'what does spazzy freak mean?' I asked why and she said that she heard a conversation when a new boy in her class said that she was pretty and did she have a boyfriend and some boys in her class said 'you dont want to go out with her she is a spazzy freak!!!!!!'

I am not a violent person but would love to rip the heads off of the parents of these boys ...............

Sorry to vent ......... it's just hard at the minute ...........

Well, we're back from the hospital and the results of the MRI show that there is nothing visible that can be removed ..... so for the near future surgery is not happening, however he is really puzzled because she is not responding to medication and he admitted that he really does not know what to do next. We now have to see him again with an epilectologist (didn't know that they existed!!) so that they can discuss all the available options with us .........

I'm relieved that they are not going to be operating on her brain again, but i'm gutted because he didn't give us any hope of curing her.

Thanks ever so much to all my dear friends here, you have all been so good to me over the last few day .....

Good thing they won't have to operate! I wish they would of figured something out for her tho. I am sure the epilectoloist will have some other options. Hang in there and we wish for her to be seizure free and well in the very near future.

I guess it is a relief not to have to undergo surgery again - that is so traumatic. Actually one of my best friend's husband is an epilectolo-whatever - epilepsy neurologist -that's all he does. New meds and treatments are coming along all the time and tons of research is going on - so there is much hope for the future. Hang in there. She is young and strong and still has a bright future.
