Thanks kateH1 for all your advice, iknow you are right in everything you say. i try to get the book in WHSmiths and waterstone book shop, but have not got it on there system. i will get my hubby to order it online.

Teardrop, if you are REALLY afraid of telling your husband that you drank it. "accidently" Break it. Then put on a little show on how bad you feel and you know it was special to him. I normally don't condone lying but you seem so worried. Or go buy some other brandy and fill it back up. But don't drink it, its covering your arse brandy
