My daughter is still in the hospital. They suspecting an ulcer or worse ulcerative colitis.

She is having endoscopy and colonoscopy in the morning.

We'll know more then.

There are lots of resources out there on the web for different medical conditions andI'm a fairly good data miner, let me know if you need me to do some research for you.

I can't help but notice that your AF counter keeps going up, just wanted to let you know how proud I am that you've been holding up so well.

My BIL has Ulcerative Colitis. My hubby has Crohns. Inflammatory bowel diseases seem to run rampant on my husbands side.

Gosh, I hope she doesn't have it - very painful. However, having said that, there have been cases where the person only has 1 single attack. You will know more about what you are dealing with after the scopes tomorrow.

I hope it isn't either. If you need any information about it let me know. I am the walking resource guide for these disorders.

Daughter is back at home and very happy to be out of the hospital.

We had GREAT news. She did not appear to have any colitis or cancer. Biopsies should confirm visual in next couple of days.

She does, however, have a dysfunctional gall bladder, gastrtitis (alcohol induced, no doubt) and a hiatal hernia. All those combined are really causing her problems. But they are all treatable.

They have given her meds and put her on a special diet to treat the hernia and gastrtitis. They want to deal with those first to see what symptoms are left that are being caused by the gall bladder. Once they know that, they will determine if they want to take out the gall bladder or not.

I am a greatly relieved mama. I told her to ABSOLUTELY not to drink. I sure hope she can abstain, if she drinks, that gastrtitis will not get better. Yet even more reason for me to insure I stay AF.

Thank you all of you for your thoughts and prayers. You have absolutely no idea what it means to me. I have very few friends because of my traveling ways and you and my husband were the only people I could share my fear and angst with. Your support and caring helped me a lot. Thank you, all.
