thank you all for your responses, they made me cry, which i suppose is a good thing.

i have never loved anyone like i loved him, and he said the same. we only knew each other 8 years expecting to grow old together having finally found each other. death is a cruel thing. i would still rather have met Ade and gone through the past two years than never known him at all. he was an exceptional person and it was my privilege to have loved him.
