    Movie recommendations?

I intend to spend all of Thanksgiving completely chilling out and watching movies. But what movies?!?!

What are your faves? (Not much of an action/thriller sort of gal - dramas, romantic comedies, etc)
    FINALLY -- I'm a non-drinker!!

            Movie recommendations?

            Parenthood (Steve Martin)
            Groundhog Day (Bill Murray)
Return to Me (an unusual twist on a love story)
Blades Of Glory (Gotta see it to appreciate it)
The Hours (not a comedy, slow-moving, but a great movie, should be seen without pause and the soundtrack play rather loud for full effect)
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life... And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

                  Movie recommendations?

"The Heartbreak Kid"- Ben Stiller. This movie is hilarious MOW and the ending had me laughing my ass off!!

"Duplex" was also another romantic comedy with Stiller in that was hilarious.

As far as Dramas go the last film I saw was "The Last King of Scotland" with Forest Whitaker and James McAvoy.

"Children of Men" starring Clive Owen and "The Island" starring Ewan McGregor are also good entertaining movies.

"Waking Ned Devine"---if you're thinking about going to Ireland, it's a MUST SEE! Hilarious and heartwarming. Also "The Commitments", especially if you're a music fan. "The Full Monty," "Saving Grace," and "Little Voice" are all across-the-pond wonderful things, too.

American stuff..."Big Fish" with Albert Finney, "Sordid Lives"..."Sideways"???

Oh, come on 12. You're one of the few guys on here, and you didn't list sports as one of your themes? Remember the Titans was good. Brian's song. There are a whole bunch. Even if you're not a sports fan, trust me. Oh, and 12, I'm not ripping on you. Just saying hello.
                            where does this go?
