My HUSBAND LOVES black Friday LOL. He and my SON go out at like 6 AM to go shopping. Is that weird or what???? I swear I am married to a woman LOL...and he his trying to turn my son into one too!!!

For me...give up an opportunity to sleep late to go shopping? I THINK NOT!!!!!!

We have something called "Boxing Day Sale" in Canada. That's the day after Christmas. It's the very same insanity. There is absolutely nothing sold on this planet that I would subject myself to such physical and mental abuse for. We have too much crap already.

What's wrong with sitting around the kitchen table in ones fuzzies and just enjoy each other, some nice conversation and some good food. But nah, gotta get that bargoooooon.

I hate shopping. I've had men ask me to marry them when they found that out! :H But it really is true. I would rather be tarred, feathered, naked and have to give a speech about How I luv President Bush than go shopping Friday!

My dear hubby is even going grocery shopping Today for Thanksgiving and generously said I didn't have to go! Who needs roses from him when he tells me that!

I'm going to avoid the stores and the shopping hype at all costs. There are still many more days to shop then put up with the stress of Black Friday. If I were to venture out that day, I'm certain I will buy things for myself and not for family and friends. The sales sound tempting though. Some of the stores here in NJ are opening at 4 am.
