    I would like to participate in the Drunk Free December. I thought I had already started until I found myself pecking at the keyboard tonight. Me and my horse had a falling out. I will see you on Saturday(I think that is the 1st)

            Betty,
            I have been agonising the last few days whether to AF for another 30 days (32 days today)
            I am out with friends tomorrow and not able to use the driving excuse as Beatle mentioned (worked before), restaurant is walking distance.
            Your DFD sounds great , It means I will not be setting myself up to fail ( trying to commit to AF in the party season )although secretly I would prefer too.

            Great pics and decorations wish I could work out how to do them!

              Eastender, I would stay AF if I were you, then you don't have to keep battling with yourself, but you can still join us here of course .........

                DRUNK FREE DECEMBER

                Hi everyone!

                Eastender, I remember so well what it felt like to be in your shoes, 30+days AF, scared almost to break the AF cycle,AF had become a safe place, so good idea of yours to jump on the DFD wagon while you are thinking about what to do next. It can be a bit of an anti-climax once you reach a (30 AF) goal, so hang on in there!
                I am now 90+ days AF and still wondering what to do, but happy happy being sober and don't want that to change!
                This will be an interesting December journey! Lots of lovely people on this thread!

                    Hi ishybit, :welcome: ..........

                    Ok guys 1st December tomorrow so it will be the official start to Drunk Free December now to be known as DFD ( and no it doesn't stand for Daft Flipping Drunks ).

                    My plan for tomorrow is a challenge that will be easily overcome, the 1st saturday in December is tradionally the day when the Boops fetch a christmas tree and decorate it together (this usually involves drinking ALL DAY) but this year will be done sober!!!!!

                      You are so right, I was so concentrating on the 30 days and it was safe and I am happy.
                      I am a Librian and not so good with decision making at the best of times ,I still may not drink ehhh...........ODAT hey?

                      BB . Love all your artwork, Changed my avatar from illusion OLD/YOUNG woman to city urchin on 30days, The first picture reminded me that I did not know who I was inside, (no spring chicken anymore anyway he-he!) This one ...street urchin Lost in the city!
