    my mom

    My mother passed away last friday at 89 yrs of age.

    She was the neatest lady ever.
    Artistic soul, painter, potter, quilter, gardener.
    She always had a story to tell, a laugh in her eyes , she was a wonderful friend, teacher and most of all mother.
    She never drank, yet, never preached.

        My mom was an 'older' mom, seeing she had me at 42. At times I feel sad about that but all things happen for a reason I reckon. Anyway she was a doll.

                Hi Katie, I am so sorry about the loss of your mother. My mother also had me late in life and I am so very glad I was able to enjoy her for as long as I did. I know this is a very difficult spot in life, but now she is safe and always with you in your heart and memories and if she suffered, her suffering is over. I think of my mother daily and those memories make me smile and ease any sadness I may have. Think of good things and take care, j

                        Katie,

                        My mama is 83 and I do know I will miss her horribly when she is gone. She is my best friend and has been such a great mom. (How blessed we are!!)

                            Katie,

                            I remember on the Thanksgiving thread you posted that you were thankful for your mom. I am so glad you had such a nice and positive relationship with her and I am sure many good memories. I am so sorry for your loss. Actually, I believe she is still with you but you just do not see her now.
