Anyone else care to add theirs?

      O Holy Night for sure.

Silent Night is a close second and if you do not have Josh Groban's new CD you must get it. His version made me cry.

Silver Bells, and Elvis' Blue Christmas come to mind.

Don't...get...me...started! I'll be singing all day!

I echo the votes on *O Holy Night.* A real spine-tingler! Even when I was blind-ass drunk on Christmas Eve, I could always play it on our grand piano and belt out the high part. For some reason, being "incapacitated" never affected my musical ability. I used to wake up on Christmas morning and not even remember playing the song, much less singing it, and yet my husband would tell me I'd hit it note-perfect. Weird...and sometimes I'd even do it in French (*Minuit Chretiens, c'est l'heure solennelle*)...so why can I sing/play perfectly when drunk, and not remember conversations?

But I guess my fave holiday song is "Baby It's Cold Outside" because of the fun counterpoint trade-off lyrics.

My favourite is: Grandma got run over by a reindeer.

I know, but I love it - it is hilarious.

Not very nicey-family-huggie, but how about Santa and His old lady by Cheech and Chong. I love it every time it comes on the radio!!!

"Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer" is not funny nor enjoyable to me, because we have two grandmas who really need running over by something. I truly envy people who cherish and relish their aging relatives. Ours are nothing but trouble, and the sooner a reindeer mows 'em down the better. The we'll have a lovely memorial service and move on. But how can we do this, when the old gals simply refuse to croak? They both did deals with the Devil, like Mephistopheles, I feel perfectly certain. They will outlive me!

Lushy and Betty, I listened to Josh Groban's version of Silent Night and it was indeed beautiful. Thank you for that!

David, I don't know that one, can you sing it for us?

Silent Night - sung by a boy choir - makes me very very homesick and I need to shed a little tear...
and the one with the chipmunks, don't know what it's called.

jane jane... then the song should be funny to you? Just imagine them getting bulled over by the reindeer and dying....

I am very blessed to have had two, now one, grandmothers that were great. I still like the song tho. I am immature so, hey, whatever.
