    Duvet/Comforter types?

OK, FMS.. I also like the heaviness of something on top of me (no jokes, girls), so here is a little trick I like. Take another heavy blanket, doesn't have to be expensive and pin it to each corner of your new down duvet, so now you have two blankets. Put both of them inside a duvet cover. if you want, you can get two blankets.. Also, get yourself some Calmes Forte, you can order it online.. Here is where I buy mine, but you may have to look online over there: Organic Pharmacy >> SEARCH PAGE It relaxes you for the evening and is all natural. These two things together and you shouls sleep like a baby.. if not, let me know and I will sing to you...

FMS, I had the same problem with my down comforter when we first got it home. I put it in the dryer on NO HEAT with 2 tennis balls (new) and let it run for about 10-15 minutes. When I took it out it was nice and poofy. Good luck.

now i'm feeling sleepy. My feather comforter got really gross and I had to get rid of it. I can't believe how expensive a new one can be, so I am waiting for my bonus to get a goose down.
I love that heavy blanket feeling and so does my kittie

Ya know, FMS, I have a rather light down comforter on my bed now, but I put a vellux blanket over it, and it feels pretty heavy to me. (I put in on top of the comforter because I don't want my cats barfing on the comforter).

I can call the post office and find the rates for shipping to England.

Thanks for replying! WHat's/where's Dunelm?!?! (We're a bit 'out-of-it' down'ere!! You may remember!! And even Plymoof is still an 1.5 hours East!! Aaagh!)

              Hadn't thought of on-line....thanx. x
Finding...sorry I didn't get back to you about Dunelm...it's a chain that does reasonably priced linens, household goods.....and it is available on line but not the full range. I seem to see a Dunelm wherever I go so you must be very remote down there in Kernow, me lover..........you b'aint be livin in some godforsaken bit like Mousehole or Gwithian, be you????:H

When it gets colder I put a fleece blanket between the duvet and the bedcover...that's nice and 'heavy'. Failing that ....... put lead weights in your jim jams, woman, and get over it *snort*

Just hand me the chocolate and.........I'll consider my position. My solicitor has advised me to say no more than that.

Well, I've had the new duvet in the laundrette's tumble dryer (big vs my tiny one!) - up and down the road with it in my 'Granny bag-on-wheels'...oh, such a go-er me!!! (*$%'?#!)(It was dark!) - and it's puffed up nicely so I'llreport in the morning....

Thanks for all the help, ideas and support...I really appreciate it....

No Suze.....just the capital!! Although Gwithian and Mousehole both get Freeview TV and we can't yet!!!! (And more sea!) (I think you's must be from round these parts.....! You speaka-da-lingo so well!)
