Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes......
It's like Christmas with no present - end of a long hard shocker of a week...keep thinking I want to/I don't want to blah blah blah.
Still hard, got to pick up Sophie from school and am fighting with myself - will I /wont I pick up a bottle on the way home etc etc etc....
We will see...hopefully stupidity does not win out.

Definitely. I'm off to bed on Thursday night here. I have the day off tomorrow. My first thought when I was leaving work today was to stop at the store and buy wine since I have the day off tomorrow. Thought twice about that and I had half a bottle of AF wine and calling tonight a success!

I'm looking forward to getting lots of things done tomorrow while I'm NOT hungover!

Thanks Kate, needed that - feeling quite strange from the meds - not at all myself. Have been off the alcohol, give or take a few (and I mean 2!) at parties for months now - what is causing all this now??? I know the meds are a factor, but sometimes (well alot)I feel that my life is all about banging my head against brick walls - I just crash one down and another one turns up - oh what a whinger, sound like Soph when she needs to clean her room - gross!!

Hang in there its a good feeling when you get through the weekend without alcohol in your system.
Last night talk about demons there was one tesco shop, handing out free baileys shots, could not help myself, ended up buying myself a bottle of wine.
I can be so easily lead.

Friday evening always used to be a bit*ch for me too - but with enough AF time under your belt - Friday is just like any other night for me now - I don't even consider drinking (MOST of the time anyway - LOL ).

It DOES get easier!

it's friday and to battle fridays i think about it as my health day. so i make sure to have a bigger work out today, and i have a spa membership so it is either spa or rent movies or book time. all of which i really love. so i think of the things i really love to do. cuz if i'm drinking i can't actually do those things. hard to read and remember while drinking. oh and writing poetry. that is way fun and definitely can not drink and write poetry or anything else meaningful. good luck everyone. it is af friday for the boot.
