    Food issue morning after - please help!

    Went to Sophie's end of year carols in the cathedral last night and parents got together afterwards (last day of school) and had a few drinks...I had a few more than I should have.

    Am OK to be at work today, but think the silly season is going to be a time to be AF for me - too many factors (medication, side effects, old issues etc) so I think i'm going to bite the bullet and stop for the season.

    Now down to business:

    if anyone knows of something really good to have for brekky the "day after" - that you can buy in a shop and is not INCREDIBLY fattening - please let me know asap as I feel like s..t Oh and to drink as well....

    Looking forward to answers soon!!

    The only thing that ever worked for me was a "hair of the dog" and I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT!!

    Otherwise, tough through it and use it to REMEMBER why you want to be AF this season.

      Soup.

      McDonalds fries and a large Farmer's Union Iced Coffee.

      Philly and crackers.

      A giant toblerone.

                  I always crave literally fruit !! oranges, bananas, apples, grapes ... You name it !!! Orange juice to drink as well as some 1% lowfat chocolate milk... You body may forgive you if you nourish it well... Have a handful of almonds too Just a handful, they are loaded with good fat, but fat afterall. Hope that you are feeling much better soon

                    In my 20s I always had to ahve pretzel sticks and pepsi to get through a morning-after at work.

                    Stay away from rich foods, that's all I can offer. OH, if you can get real sparkling mineral water it works pretty well.
                    FINALLY -- I'm a non-drinker!!

                      Okay, healthy stuff -

                      I think Boost do a juice as a pick me up! Have a look at their menu to see what criterias they fit! That might do the trick.

                      What about just plain salad sandwich?

                      Or ........

                        yeah bluebell, have to stick with you - fruit and chocolate milk is a sure road to a good puke for me!

                        Mentally I feel OK - not a big hangover, I am at the office after all!!

                        Oh I dunno....vegemite has been suggested here - Vitamin B
