Victory - you forgot the onion. Essential. When I was in the States I walked for miles looking for a salad roll ..................... to no avail.

Cashy - Canned spag on toast used to be my hangover helper. Thank dog that's just a dim dark distant memory .....

Sorry AFM spag = spaghetti. The nasty canned variety. Yukkkkk ... but great for hangovers. Instant carbs.

              Canned spah Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!

Apologies all Tawny is right, salad roll must have onion. But canned spag!!!! Oh Tawny nearly gagging to think of that stuff. But hey whatever it takes, don?t forget Berocca?s and don?t get out of bed before having one of those. Tastes like shit, but works for me. Sorry Cashy you are feeling poorly. Yep to alcohol session just before a period. Think it must anesthetise hormonal fluctuations. This whole hormonal thing is much more powerful than we realise.

The canned spag here in the US smells like barf.

Thanks for the clarification Tawny. Canned spaghetti - I think I could of done it on those morning afters. I craved carbs like crazy back in those days.

                    Your lunch sounded delicious, Cashy!

                        Barf type thingies..........

Canned spag not only smells like barf but tastes like it. But hey whatever it takes. Has anyone noticed that when barfing it always looks like tomato has been ingested? What happens in a country like Africa that doesn?t have tomatoes? Do they bow down and worship a great foreign vegetable that appears like magic in barf [called spew here]? Arrrrrrrrrgh and how does spew come out through the nose in little chunky bite sized pieces? And no spew not always alcohol related, the smell of canned spag does it for me??Must have a weak stomach.

The only thing that helps me is either another drink or.....greasy hamburger and real coca cola....gotta have that sugar. I guess I think if I'm not worrying about health when I'm drinking, why should I worry when I'm try to feel better from drinking. When I quit drinking for that period of time, I could not get enough sugar!

tinned spag is fine - on toast when you are a poor student - otherwise no excuse for the rubbish. As for barf - diced carrots!!!!!!!!! they are always there, and i've never ever eaten diced carrots in my life

If you have an Oriental grocery nearby, go get some miso soup paste. The light yellow/white kind (red is too heavy and will make you hurl.) Mix it with boiing water, crush up a few Saltine crackers in it, and sip slowly. Eat more Saltines if your tummy is still iffy. And ginger ale is magic!
