I totally agree! My 8th grader has an 8th grade challenge project which involves finding an adult mentor in the community, a powerpoint presentation, a research paper etc... But it will really be my project because his mentor is an hour away and the reality is that I need to be at all the meetings with the mentor because there are so many sickos out there that I wouldn't want to leave him alone!!!
