alcohol withdrawl
Goodmorning or Afternoon to you all, It has been 15 days with a slip of two beers last sunday AF. I have been getting slight headaches, no biggy, but now I am feeling exhausted. Was wondering if anyone else felt this way? Maybe I am coming down with something, but I have to say this is the longest I have gone with only having two beers in a very long time - feels great, except feeling so tired. Looking forward and praying for a AF weekend.

Are you sleeping well? Are you taking heavy-duty supps as recommended?Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life... And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

alcohol withdrawl
Hi two sox
When I went AF, I too woke up with headaches for about 2 weeks. What baffled me was how physically and mentally tired I was, a different kind of tired than when I was drinking. I would literally find myself dozing at the kitchen table at night watching the eveining news at 6:00 p.m...couldn't keep my eyes open. I am thinking this is what real tired felt like instead of the effects of the booze. The good news is it did pass after about the third week, but I will tell you I was concerned as I never felt so exhausted..Congrats to you on your 15 days!!!!sobriety date 11-04-07

Thanks for the input, I wasn't sure if it was withdrawl or not. I'm actually sleeping great, not waking up in the middle of the night feeling terrible and not being able to get back to sleep. My exhaustion probably does have a little to do with a pre-teen and the holidays.
I'm also taking vitamins and minerals. Hopefully it will pass soon.

yes, if you are sleeping well, you are over any real withdrawal. I suggest you may just be tired. It happens.
